Forty years in a few lines.
Our adventure started with my father, Valerio Pirovano, working as cultivator in Magreglio at the end of the Sixties. After awhile he decided to move with our family to Bellagio (his native town) and to run the business he would have dealt with for many years: a specialized nursery producing above all acidophilic shrubs, under-shrubs and the main outside pot bedding plants. The business had been growing constantly with the concept of care and quality more than expansionistic plans in the head, addressing its production to a few selected customers. This went on since 1998, when I came to a turning point in my career and became my father’s partner after having been one of his employees for many years, with an ambitious project in my mind. That’s how company Vivai Pirovano was born for the second time, re-established in Anzano del Parco (even with the Bellagio nostalgia in our hearts), built on a larger surface, definitely better positioned to reach our customers and be reached by them. But the main change was in the company nature: today Vivai Pirovano sells a large assortment of outside plants that easily grow and live in our climate, from trees to pot bedding plants.

We sell materials as stones, stakes, cortex, tuff, resin, plastic and grit pots, besides of several kinds of moulds, fertilizers, seeds and irrigation equipments; everything ready to be supplied thanks to our large stock and quick & cheap deliveries made by our numerous trucks equipped with hydraulic board and crane. Vivai Pirovano is a young, inspired, reliable and no-stop growing company, strongly competitive in prices and extremely sensitive to our customers’ needs and requests.
